Leading technology giant is looking for Application Porting /Migration Specialist in a High Performance Compute environment (HPC) based in Melbourne!

Job details:

The client is looking for porting application workloads to a HPC DR system from the primary HPC. All services related to the delivery of the nominated application will be ported to the HPC DR environment. No rewriting of the application code is expected to port any of the workloads.

Requirements:

• Port existing customer HPC application to the DR HPC environment to not exceed the primary system execution by more then 5%
• Perform minor enhancement or maintenance modifications
• Package and distribute the application or software into all environments in accordance with the customer policies

The porting team will be required to use the customer's software tools including Intel OneAPO, the Cray Programming Environment, Arm Forge (DDT&MAP) standards compliant Fortran, C, C++ and Python compilers including OpenMP and OpenACC and HPC appropriate MPI library. Code developed in Fortran or IDL may be required to promote code branches in GitLab.
