We are seeking a motivated Project Officer to provide high-level engagement and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders. This role is vital for coordinating project milestones and ensuring the successful delivery of digital health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Support the execution of actions outlined in the Interoperability Plan and other digital health initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Strategic Development: Contribute to the creation of strategic plans, discussion papers, and initiatives related to digital health and interoperability.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing progress reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborative Environment: Foster a positive and creative working atmosphere that encourages teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Procurement Management: Support the management of procurement, contracts, and financial requirements.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Highly organized with knowledge of digital health and transformation projects.
- Flexibility to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in supporting digital health projects and managing integrated project schedules.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve complex issues.
- Good written and oral communication skills for preparing reports and briefs.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of project and operations management frameworks to support the Interoperability Plan.
- Provide high-level support to senior management in maintaining project task registers and stakeholder engagement catalogues.
- Ensure compliance with agency governance processes and monitor project progress.
Work Environment:
- Collaborate with project teams to track progress against project plans and identify any variances.
- Maintain an understanding of agency policies and take responsibility for your health and safety in the workplace.
Independence and Decision-Making:
- Work autonomously, guided by agency policies to manage activities and stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Use sound judgment to address complex issues and escalate when necessary.
Stakeholder Management:
- Engage proactively with stakeholders to achieve project outcomes and address their needs.
- Communicate effectively to resolve conflicts and ensure stakeholder expectations are met.
Qualifications
- * Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Officer with large organisations
- * Adept with MS Office Suite
- * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage with numerous stakeholders via several means, e.g. workshop facilitation
- * Knowledge of health or digital health projects
- * Project management qualification or relevant work experience desirable
