Experis Australia is seeking an experienced Automation Tester for a Canberra-based client, starting 1st July 2025. You must hold an active Baseline Clearance and reside in Canberra, ACT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage test plans and strategies using Azure DevOps.

• Write, review, and execute test cases on web-based applications.

• Prioritise testing efforts and execute test cases efficiently.

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to analyse specifications, user stories, and requirements.

• Log and track defects using Azure DevOps and JMeter.

• Contribute to the Testing Strategy and support automation testing best practices.

• Ensure digital solutions conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

• Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.

• Work within an Agile and traditional delivery environment.

Must-Haves:

• Experience in automated testing with strong software testing skills.

• Expertise in writing, reviewing, and executing complex test plans, cases, and strategies.

• Ability to work in cross-functional teams with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers.

• Strong knowledge of WCAG conformance (current accessibility training is a plus).

• Excellent communication skills to engage non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience creating test plans/cases for custom applications using Azure and Microsoft technologies.

• Familiarity with managing test plans and cases in Azure DevOps.

• Experience guiding User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
