I'm currently working with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Avaloq Engineers with deep Avaloq expertise. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-impact technology team and play a key role in delivering next-generation digital capabilities across data, platforms, and specialised applications.

The role sits within a forward-thinking Agile environment, where innovation and customer-centricity are at the heart of every delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Avaloq platform delivery in line with best practices and internal standards

• Design and implement scalable solutions that align with business and technology strategy

• Define and promote coding and quality standards across engineering teams

• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for Avaloq systems

• Oversee Avaloq release processes including packaging, stream management, and scripting

• Liaise directly with Avaloq on kernel and platform-related issues

Technical Expertise

• Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP)

• Experience in financial or banking application environments

• Strong understanding of banking operations, trade lifecycle, and superannuation/investment products

• Skilled in Oracle and PL/SQL, with experience in SQL performance tuning

• Proficient with Avaloq development tools such as ICE and SQL Developer

• Familiarity with ADAI (Avaloq Database Automation and Integration) is highly advantageous

• Strong knowledge of Avaloq modules and components including scripts, workflows, fees, messaging, and reporting frameworks

• Hands-on experience with Avaloq release processes and Unix scripting is desirable
