Are you an experienced Cloud Security Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the management and development of critical cloud security infrastructure.

About the Role

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting security operations, deploying cloud-based security services, and ensuring our cloud infrastructure aligns with whole-of-government standards. You will work within a collaborative and innovative environment, providing expert guidance on cloud security architecture, automation, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support security operations engineering projects within the Azure environment.
  • Deploy cloud-based security services, process automations, and general feature updates.
  • Develop detailed architecture documentation and high-level solution architectures.
  • Provide impact analysis of user and stakeholder requirements.
  • Ensure enterprise and system solutions adhere to government security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable cloud solutions.
  • Promote enterprise architecture principles and the Digital Transformation Agency's (DTA) Digital Service Standard.
  • Provide expertise in platform automation, testing, continuous integration, and deployment.
  • Act as a strategic leader and influencer in cloud security.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
✅ Minimum of 5 years' experience in Cloud Security Engineering.
✅ Strong expertise in Azure cloud security infrastructure.
✅ Experience in developing enterprise-level cloud security documentation and architectures.
✅ A deep understanding of security operations, automation, and best practices.
✅ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
