  1. About the Role: We are seeking an eager Cyber Technical Analyst to join our high-performing and fast-paced ICT cyber security team within our Digital Service Division. As part of the Cyber Engagement section, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our cyber security posture.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Write and present security documentation for both technical and non-technical staff.
    • Provide expert advice on security architecture best practices to departmental programs.
    • Review and offer cyber guidance on application, infrastructure, and system integration designs related to PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight.
    • Raise awareness of security issues among technical and non-technical staff.
    • Implement the Essential Eight framework in various government agencies, offering technical uplift and guidance to stakeholders.
    • Utilize your knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure and services to support security initiatives.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years in cyber technical advisory roles within government.
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
    • Strong judgment and ability to work under pressure with limited supervision, delivering high-quality outcomes.
    • Awareness of security risks and the ability to anticipate and communicate their impacts.
    • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues.
    • Proficiency in articulating and documenting technical security artifacts.
