We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join a forward-thinking Data and Analytics team on a contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your data expertise to make a real impact on business performance and decision-making across the organisation.

Our clients Data and Analytics team plays a pivotal role by providing high-quality data and reporting solutions that help drive measurable business improvements. This centralised team focuses on enhancing processes, ensuring data is delivered with clarity, and fostering data literacy across various branches and regions.


About the Role


As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the organisation's enterprise data warehouse and reporting platforms. You will design and develop cutting-edge Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, providing actionable insights that support key business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding organisational strategies and translating business needs into actionable data and reporting solutions.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to transform complex data into meaningful, easy-to-understand insights.
  • Designing and building interactive dashboards, reports, and data products to support business processes and performance improvements.
  • Ensuring best practices across the team by contributing to consistent analytics methodologies.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior analysts (0-2), helping them grow and develop their skills.


Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to transform data insights into valuable business outcomes.
  • Strong ownership of deliverables with a focus on seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Advanced programming skills in languages like SAS and SQL.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to articulate complex information simply and clearly.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player mindset.


Desirable Skills

  • Experience with industrialised cloud Data Lakes and/or enterprise data warehouses (EDW).
  • Strong process mapping skills, able to convert discussions into data flows and process documentation.
  • Familiarity with project management frameworks and lifecycle phases.
