About the Role:

As an Integration Specialist, you will play a key role in deploying, supporting, and maintaining application and data integration layers. You will contribute to and lead integration projects, ensuring seamless connectivity across our technology landscape. Working within a dynamic and collaborative team, you will optimize API performance, implement security measures, and drive continuous improvements in integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new integrations and support existing solutions using Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid, and Azure Storage.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing recommendations and establishing best practices for our SaaS, on-premise COTS, and in-house applications.
  • Design and develop robust APIs to enhance seamless integration across platforms.
  • Implement and maintain API security, including authentication and access controls.
  • Lead development activities within the integration and services project team, including Agile sprint cycles.
  • Optimize API performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Maintain an inventory of the enterprise integration landscape.
  • Provide 3rd-level support for integration-related incidents within agreed SLAs.
  • Stay updated with emerging data technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

About You:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong expertise in Azure integration services (Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus, Storage, Queues).
  • Proven experience in automating build and release of integration solutions.
  • Strong coding skills in SQL, Python, and Postman.
  • Experience with API documentation tools (Swagger) and API management platforms.
  • Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, API keys, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in Git and version control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with API design principles, versioning, and troubleshooting.

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to Power Platform, Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Purview, Power BI.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in API testing frameworks and methodologies.
