The Role

The objective of this role is to assist in the remediation and implementation of urgent updates and changes to applications, systems, configurations, templates and other capabilities and functions as required.
This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility and understanding during a period of substantial organisational change.

Main Accountabilities:
Working within multiple streams of the Technology team transition with direction and support from the Executive team, Chief Architect, Release Train Engineer and Stream Leads the role will;

• Utilise JIRA and Scrum or Kanban approaches to deliver tasks, changes and products to ensuring delivery of high-quality products and user experience (where possible)
• Work closely with business, technology and corporate service users to help identify causal problems and requirements to ensure the right problem is solved (with technology)
• Make and contribute ideas, innovation and suggestions to resolve a list of simple to complex challenges with consideration to short, medium and long term approaches and solutions.
• Work closely with the Architecture, Cyber Security and Support teams to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, reporting requirements, risk management and identify and seek exemptions where required.

• Re-development and maintenance of .NET or similar applications
• Re-development and maintenance of web-based systems, applications and reporting solutions
• Assist with the detailed planning, execution, testing and documentation of application updates

The ideal Candidate
Will have experience in developer role and preferably;

• Experience working with Government in customer-focussed service delivery, managing competing priorities, and delivering in a fast-paced change environment.

• Experience in agile delivery and using JIRA and Service Now or similar.
• Strong ability to work independently and be accountable for outcomes

Requirements:

• .NET stack, such as C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and Web APIs.
• Visual Studio
• Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture
• CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing
• SQL Server

Other Requirements

• Holding an Australian Government Security Clearance is beneficial.
• Accreditation in agile or technology frameworks.
• Police check required
• Must be based in Australia with a right to work.
