We are seeking a talented and experienced Java-Oracle Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor, you will play an integral role in overseeing software development projects, writing optimized code, and providing technical leadership to a team of engineers. Your work will be critical in ensuring the quality, functionality, and seamless integration of the software delivered by your team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Technical Lead and Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Oracle ADF Development:

    • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle ADF applications to meet functional requirements and enhance the user experience.
    • Customize and extend existing Oracle ADF modules to support new features and functionalities as per project requirements.
  • Database Management and Integration:

    • Work closely with Oracle databases, writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to ensure seamless data integration and retrieval within the application management system (AMS).
    • Optimize database performance and conduct data validation to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • System Enhancements and Support:

    • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to implement system enhancements and resolve technical issues.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle ADF applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining system uptime.
  • Documentation and Compliance:

    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment guides, and user manuals for Oracle ADF applications.
    • Ensure compliance with coding standards, security protocols, and best practices in Oracle Forms development.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership:

    • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
    • Conduct peer code reviews and testing to maintain the highest standards of code quality.
    • Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring that knowledge is shared and team skills are continually enhanced.
    • Liaise effectively with business users and other development teams to ensure project success.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) and expertise in the following Oracle/Java technologies:

    • JQuery, JavaScript, User Interface design
    • Java / JSF, Web Services (REST and SOAP)
    • Oracle Application Developer Framework (ADF)
    • Oracle DBMS, BI-Publisher, Oracle BPEL, BPM
    • BPM / SOA integration, business workflow modeling
    • Understanding of Accessibility and WCAG standards
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline operations.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle databases, including SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization techniques.

  • Ability to mentor and provide guidance to less experienced members of the development team.
