This organisation is recognised for its expertise in providing audit and assurance services as well as decades of expertise in assessment, advisory and cyber security services. Their solutions-based partnerships are supported by data-driven insights that help their clients solve their biggest business problems & manage and mitigate cyber risks.

They are looking for a proven and efficient third-party ISMS Auditor qualified against ISO 27001. As an expert in your sector, you will be tasked with managing a portfolio of clients while conducting audits against nationally recognised standards.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Within authorised area of specialism, undertake business assurance assessments in accordance with current procedures.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary and/ or international assessment teams effectively, ensuring that the visit is completed within the agreed timescales, and co-ordinating team findings to reach conclusions.
  • Produce high quality assessment reports or other reports such as summary reports, reflecting business assurance principles, in compliance with accreditation requirements and internal procedures.
  • Ensure that all internal client stakeholders are kept informed of changes and issues, escalating as appropriate.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and sales leads and pass these onto appropriate colleagues.
  • Pass client feedback and insights to appropriate internal recipients initiating and leading client improvement projects as required.

To be in successful in this role, you will need:

  • Thorough understanding of management systems/scheme requirements and their application via a business assurance approach.
  • ISO27001 (Cyber Security) Lead Assessor qualifications.
  • Qualified to assess against more than one major standard, sector scheme e.g. ISO 9001, ISO45001, ISO 14001.
  • Understanding/ appreciation of relevant legal/ regulatory framework.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in third party auditing/assessment including system level auditing and process level auditing.
  • Understanding of the principles of client management principles and application within the role.
