Our client, located in inner Melbourne with excellent access to public transport, is on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a key data migration project.

This role involves leading the migration of all existing data to Power BI, ensuring a smooth transition to the new platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing data migration projects, particularly within Power BI environments, and be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities and experience:

• Previous experience working on a similar, data migration project.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and providing updates on project status.
• Identify potential risks, create mitigation strategies, and maintain contingency plans.
• Experience working with PowerBi & Tableau is a must have.
• Communicate complex technical aspects of the Power BI migration in a clear and understandable way for non-technical stakeholders.

This is an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension based on project success and business needs. You will work in a hybrid work environment, within a friendly and professional team.
