The role

The purpose of the role is to analyse and reverse engineer Cognos reports and packages, technically documenting them, and then rebuild as SAP Business Objects Webi Reports. The position works closely with business users, business analysts, project managers and testing staff to deliver well-engineered reports that meet business requirements and satisfy stakeholder needs.

To be successful you will require

• Very strong BO v4.2 Webi report design, build capability (with version v4.3 understanding desirable)
• Cognos report design and build capability
• SQL development capabilities
• Ability to reverse engineer Cognos reports with limited or no documentation
• Strong analytical skills (to be able to achieve the above reverse engineering requirement)
• Must be a self-starter/self-motivated and work on this engagement with minimal support and/or guidance.
• BO Universe design and build an advantage.
