SAP Integration/Technical Lead - ABAP

Contract Role

Our global IT client is looking for a SAP Integration/Technical Lead to join their team assisting one of their federal government projects.

As a member of an onshore/offshore team of ABAP Integration developers. You will perform technical design, produce technical specifications and build ABAP objects align to the agreed Integration strategy and approach. You will work closely with the design team and test teams to resolve defects associated with the Integration development objects.

We would like you to have a solid SAP Integration background with at least 3 full implementations, ideally in a large government organisation environment. Strong experience in integration design, planning and managing execution of the integration development build. Experience in the S/4 HANA Fiori development is a must.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Be an Australian citizen
• Experience working on federal government projects/client is highly regarded
• Be eligible to obtain an AGSVA baseline security clearance or already have AGSVA baseline security clearance

Technical Expertise:

• Minimum 5 years SAP experience developing solutions for SAP systems
• At least 3 full cycle implementations in a senior development role
• Demonstrable skills in ABAP and integration to PI/PO and Data Services
• Development and administration of IDOCs and Web Services
• Design and development experience producing and consuming SOAP and RESTful web services including XML Schemas and WSDLs
• Working experience building complex interfaces to and from SAP S4HANA
• Good knowledge of ABAP, REST services, ESR Objects
• Have basic knowledge of HANA development and administration

Preferred Skills:

• Experience developing SAP Integration applications with other Interfacing Systems
• Demonstrated experience as an SAP Integration Developer (BAPI, IDOC, ALE).
• Basic knowledge of SAP functional modules
• Experience working in large SAP project teams with complex business rules
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and to share information
