Are you a highly skilled Solution Designer/Engineer with expertise in Credit Risk, Banking, and Data Engineering? Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced professional to join their SRDE Solution Design Team.

About the Role
As a Solution Designer/Engineer, you will be responsible for:
✔️ Designing and delivering end-to-end technical solutions that meet business requirements.
✔️ Conducting impact analysis, effort estimation, and solution governance.
✔️ Collaborating with Credit Risk teams, Service Owners, and Tech Leads to assess and prioritise projects.
✔️ Ensuring data integrity, scalability, and reusability across multiple enterprise programs.
✔️ Supporting full-stack development teams with best practices in DevOps and Agile methodologies.
About You
To be considered, you will need:
🔹 5+ years in a large and complex Credit Risk and/or Banking environment.
🔹 10+ years delivering business and technology solutions, including complex data engineering projects.
🔹 5+ years of Advanced SQL and SAS (Base SAS, SAS/Macro, SAS DI Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Management Console).
🔹 5+ years working with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, Python, Java, Spring Boot, Git, Flink, CosmosDB, Akka, Scala, SQL, Synapse.
🔹 Strong experience with data warehousing, integration (Informatica, Sterling), and BI tools (IBM Cognos/TM1, Power BI, Tableau).
🔹 Proven track record in cloud-based solution design (Azure preferred) and serverless architecture.
Additional Skills & Experience
✨ Strong data analysis and modelling capabilities.
✨ Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket).
✨ Ability to work in Agile and cross-functional teams.
