About the Role

We're seeking a SAS Test Lead to lead and execute testing activities across Credit Risk projects, ensuring traceability, compliance, and high-quality standards. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, solution engineers, and automation teams to deliver robust testing frameworks while optimizing test automation coverage.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead and execute testing for Credit Risk projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements
✅ Develop and implement test approaches, test plans, and test completion reports
✅ Ensure traceability, governance, and quality standards throughout the testing process
✅ Plan and monitor regression cycles for every release
✅ Collaborate with test automation engineers to continuously improve automated test coverage
✅ Work closely with Product Owners to maintain an up-to-date regression suite
✅ Maintain and update testing metrics and governance dashboards
✅ Conduct regular audits on test artifacts across squads and projects
✅ Identify and mitigate testing risks and issues proactively

What We're Looking For

🔹 5+ years of experience in SAS Testing, with expertise in testing strategies and execution
🔹 Strong experience in SAS Base, SAS/Macro, SAS DI Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Management Console
🔹 Advanced SQL & SAS skills for data validation and manipulation
🔹 Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
🔹 3+ years experience in Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, Python), API Development (Java Spring, MVC), Azure Cloud (Synapse Analytics, CosmosDB)
🔹 Knowledge of Data Mesh Architecture and Domain Data Products concepts
🔹 Experience working with data integration, warehousing, and business intelligence tools (Informatica, Cognos, TM1, Power BI, Tableau)
🔹 Prior exposure to the banking/financial services industry, especially Credit Risk
🔹 Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
🔹 Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Nice to Have

✨ Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps practices
✨ Experience in SAS 9.4 or Viya platform testing
✨ Knowledge of financial services applications & risk management
