Our Federal Government client is seeking a talented, dynamic senior business analyst to work with their Information Technology Services (ITS) branch on a range of cyber-related initiatives. Ideally you will be client focused with experience across all aspects of business analysis in a digital environment. This will entail liaising with stakeholders to solicit, understand and document business requirements, processes, and develop high level solutions and system designs. Experience crafting well written business cases is essential.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for:
* Providing business analysis services to assist in the implementation of the organisations Cyber Security Strategy.
* Working closely with ITS and business project teams to ensure requirements are well understood, solutions tested, technical issues recorded and tracked, changes implemented, and business objectives met.
* Facilitating workshops and other collaboration or research activities with internal and external stakeholders to meet outcomes, such as identifying pain points and designing solutions and opportunities for improvement.
* Producing artefacts as required. This may include business cases, submissions, user stories, journey maps, blueprints, personas, functional requirements specifications.
* Providing input into solution design, taking into account enterprise architecture, cyber security, information and data management in order to resolve complex issues for both near term business objectives and predicted future needs.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
1. Demonstrated experience as a senior business analyst (at least 8 years) in technical projects. Cyber security knowledge and experience would be well regarded.
2. Highly developed liaison, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and to listen and respond to others appropriately.
4. Experience facilitating workshops for large stakeholder groups and ability to synthesise input into requirements.
5. Experience producing artefacts such as business cases, submissions, user journeys, process maps, functional decomposition models, user stories, test cases.
6. Australian Citizenship with NV1 Security Clearance (Baseline Clearance may be considered)
