Our client, located conveniently in inner Melbourne with excellent access to public transport, is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to oversee a Risk and Safety systems implementation.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and creating user requirements and stories for a new and highly important risk and safety management system to be implemented across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to assess current processes, identify gaps, and recommend fit for purpose solutions that will enhance safety and mitigate risk. This role requires a deep understanding of safety and risk systems, processes, and frameworks, to allow you the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Business Analyst
  • Ability to create user stories and requirements, in an agile environment
  • Experience working in large and complex projects, with demonstrated experience in Safety, Risk and/or Health Systems and processes (a must)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to safety and risk management
  • Design and implement solutions for risk and safety system enhancements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
  • Develop detailed documentation, including business cases, system specifications, and process workflows
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential vulnerabilities in processes and systems

This is a project based fixed term role, where you will work in a hybrid work environment, within a friendly and professional team.
