Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a large and complex program; an initiative which focuses on upgrading and enhancing their distribution management systems (ADMS).

Role Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to analyze, document, and refine business requirements, processes, and change impacts. Key responsibilities include supporting testing activities, facilitating change implementation, and contributing to training and work instruction development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business needs, processes, and the impacts of program changes.
  • Develop detailed process maps for current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) workflows, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  • Update and maintain interface agreements to reflect system integration needs.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and reviews to validate requirements and workflows.
  • Support testing efforts by creating test cases, resolving defects, and developing interim solutions as needed.
  • Assist with the rollout of new processes, providing post-implementation support during hypercare.
  • Perform impact analyses to assess changes, ensure stakeholder readiness, and identify affected users.
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials to support smooth transitions to new systems and processes.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in delivering large-scale technology projects.
  • Familiarity with electrical distribution operations or experience working in the energy domain (Utilities sector experience is mandatory, preferably in distribution).
  • Prior experience in Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS or DMS) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of workflows, integration agreements, and project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including Visio), Jira, and Confluence.
