We are seeking a Data Modeller to play a key role in a large-scale transformation program aimed at modernising business capabilities and replacing core ICT systems with a citizen-centric, agile technology platform.

About the Role

As a Data Modeller, you will design and implement data modelling solutions across relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases, ensuring streamlined data movement and improved enterprise information management. You will work under limited direction, applying your expertise in data warehousing, modelling techniques, and data governance frameworks to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and translate business needs into long-term solution data models
• Evaluate and optimise existing data systems
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for transactional, analytical, and big-data processing systems
• Work closely with Agile development teams to design data flows and ensure consistency in data structures
• Implement data coding best practices and contribute to data governance initiatives
• Establish sustainable automatic analytical processes
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and enhance data systems for efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive data management and process improvements

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Strong expertise in data modelling, warehousing, and governance
• Experience with relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases
• Ability to develop and optimise metadata models
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
