About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Network Engineer to join a Federal Government ICT team delivering critical infrastructure and technology projects. This role is part of a dynamic team responsible for managing and maintaining secure network environments across multiple classifications.

As a Network Engineer, you will be working on day-to-day operations, business-as-usual (BAU) processes, and project implementations across enterprise and cloud-based network platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain PROTECTED, OFFICIAL, and UNOFFICIAL networks across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Configure and support network hardware including Cisco, Citrix, F5, and Fortinet.
• Implement and maintain secure internet access solutions.
• Manage and support telephony systems (Microsoft Teams and Cisco).
• Provide technical support for video conferencing hardware and software.
• Deliver 3rd level ICT support for enterprise business applications.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in network administration and support within a complex ICT environment.
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, routers, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience with enterprise telephony and video conferencing solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents and service requests.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Previous experience in a government or highly regulated environment is highly regarded.
