About the Team
Join the Database Development Team (also known as the Raptors), where we:

• Maintain enterprise database platforms and the corporate data model implementation.
• Conduct database performance tuning and plan future architectures for enterprise relational data.
• Develop and support applications and provide APIs for our databases.

About the Projects
These roles are critical for supporting the development of the AusSeabed Survey Coordination Tool and the Marine Data Register.

• The AusSeabed Survey Coordination Tool facilitates planning and collaboration for survey cruises within the AusSeabed community.
• The Marine Data Register enables the submission and management of marine data, forming a central pillar of the AusSeabed program.

Essential Criteria:

1. Proven experience in Oracle APEX application development.
2. Expertise in Oracle backend development using PL/SQL and SQL.
3. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an agile team and engage effectively with stakeholders.
4. Australian Citizenship (mandatory).
5. Ability to secure a Baseline security clearance.

Desirable Criteria:

• Proficiency in data modeling, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in agile software development practices.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Current Baseline security clearance.
