Are you an experienced Systems Analyst looking to make an impact in delivering critical solutions? Join a dynamic team working across a range of Visa and Citizenship processing systems, supporting systems that handle millions of applications annually and deliver services to stakeholders across government.

We are seeking two Systems Analysts to develop and support business solutions, from client-facing interfaces like online lodgment applications to back-end processing systems such as the Integrated Client Services Environment (ICSE). These roles are pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of vital functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or contribute to activities including:
    • Managing business requirements, expectations, and scope.
    • Developing user stories or detailed-level requirements.
    • Facilitating workshops and group discussions.
    • Participating in Agile team scrums.
    • Performing solution design and problem analysis.
    • Producing solution and functional design documents.
    • Driving continuous business improvement.
    • Identifying and reporting issues and risks.
    • Mentoring and supporting junior business analysts.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and key stakeholders to define, prioritize, and implement new system functionalities that deliver value and meet user expectations.
  • Provide ad-hoc services to stakeholders and project teams as required.
  • Manage workloads within project schedules and communicate effectively to maintain project standards.

Deliverables Include:

  • User stories/use cases.
  • Data mapping documentation.
  • Functional and technical specifications.
  • Defect resolution documentation.
  • Comprehensive documentation including product, process, system, and user guides.

What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality systems analysis in a complex environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
  • A track record of success in Agile environments.
  • Ability to mentor and transfer knowledge to junior staff.
  • Experience producing detailed documentation and adhering to organizational standards.
