Our client is seeking a seasoned Technical Business Analyst to support a major enterprise-level technology initiative with a strong focus on infrastructure. This is a fixed-term contract role suited to someone with deep experience across corporate tech migrations, insourcing projects, and large-scale infrastructure environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical leads, architects, and key stakeholders to support the planning, analysis, and delivery of infrastructure project across areas such as networks, hosting, security operations, Active Directory, and data centre migrations.

This is a fixed term contract, based in Melbourne, hybrid work arrangments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the capture and analysis of infrastructure-related business and technical requirements across multiple workstreams, including network upgrades, server and storage transformations, and security enhancements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions aligned to enterprise standards.

  • Conduct impact assessments and gap analysis for infrastructure changes, including risk identification and mitigation planning.

  • Drive alignment between business needs and IT capabilities, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, documented, and traceable.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst on large-scale infrastructure, migration, or corporate insourcing programs.

  • Strong understanding of core infrastructure domains including networks, storage, servers, hosting, Active Directory, and data centres.

  • Familiarity with identity and access management, and operational risk assessment in enterprise environments.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a strong ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.

  • Experience working within global or highly distributed organisations is highly desirable.
