We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst with a passion for software testing and a keen eye for detail. You will play a key role in designing and executing tests, analysing results, and collaborating with the development team to ensure seamless functionality across mission-critical systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Test updates and maintain existing biosecurity systems to ensure a smooth user experience across platforms.
• Evaluate enterprise-grade software applications built using .NET and SQL Server technologies.
• Develop and maintain detailed manual tests in DevOps and leverage automation tools such as Tosca.
• Collaborate closely with Agile team members, including developers and testers, to understand the functionality under test.
• Adhere to best practice test techniques and processes when developing and executing tests.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test artefacts and provide detailed testing reports.
• Test SOAP and REST web services for internal system-to-system and B2G integration.
• Perform defect management following established processes.
• Work with web services, including WSDLs, XML Schemas, and XML payloads.
• Use tools like Swagger, Postman, and Soap UI to enhance testing processes.

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrated experience in collaborative software testing, managing and performing testing activities independently, with well-developed testing skills (test planning, analysis and test case writing, test execution, defect management, and reporting).
• Strong ability to understand and analyse business requirements/user stories from a software development perspective.
• Proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver test deliverables aimed at delivering business-fit solutions.
• Demonstrated experience as a software tester working on database systems, including SQL.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral forms with various stakeholders.

Desirable Criteria

Knowledge/experience with:
Microsoft DevOps, Azure portal, Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online.
ISTQB Certification.
Tosca experience.
Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Azure DevOps Repos, Boards, Artifacts, and Pipelines.
