About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing development of a comprehensive operational training program. This critical role will ensure that staff have access to contemporary training, ongoing support, and clear capability development pathways to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Establish and implement an effective, whole-of-lifecycle operational training program aligned with business objectives and operational standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of internal instructors and coaches to deliver high-quality training and coaching support.
  • Collaborate with operational managers to assess training needs and create tailored learning paths for various roles and career levels.
  • Evaluate and improve training materials and methods to optimise learning outcomes and engagement.
  • Monitor and report on training effectiveness, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop SCORM-compliant content compatible with our Learning Management System (Totara) and internal platforms (highly regarded).

  • Communication Excellence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Learning and Development Knowledge: A solid understanding of contemporary theories and practices, and the ability to quickly grasp our operating environment.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Post-secondary qualifications in learning and development or equivalent professional experience.
