We are seeking an experienced Siebel Systems Analyst (Designer) to assist the DAE section in maintaining resource capacity, backfilling upcoming leave, and addressing any performance issues. This role requires collaboration with business analysts and technical teams to deliver functional design solutions and ensure their alignment with established patterns and standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to determine business requirements for IT systems.
  • Negotiate scope within technical and resource limitations.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and present design solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, UX designers, product design assurance teams, and developers to ensure solution and functional designs are feasible and align with standards.
  • Develop and document detailed functional design specifications, user stories, mock-ups, diagrams, and other design artifacts.
  • Review design deliverables from peers and conduct confidence checks on built functionality.
  • Advise on the relative risks of project-related activities.
  • Coordinate the implementation of solution designs with relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze and resolve design issues during development and post-go-live phases.
  • Transfer skills and knowledge to departmental officers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum SFIA Level 4
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in ICT
  • 3-5+ years of experience in IT systems analysis and design
  • Previous experience working within the Australian Government, on large and complex IT systems

Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years of recent experience with Siebel CRM in any role, and at least 2 years working as a Siebel Analyst-Designer.
  • Extensive experience as a Siebel CRM designer, developer, or tester.
