We are seeking experienced and motivated Solution Architects to assist with the delivery of various ICT projects, including those focused on artificial intelligence and emerging technology. Our team primarily works with Microsoft Azure, M365, Dynamics365, and DevOps platforms.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Solution Architect, you will:
- Lead complex technical projects, particularly migration initiatives, and provide expert guidance.
- Design high-level and detailed solutions for migrating in-house systems to Azure, including Active Directory, SharePoint, Exchange, and virtual desktop infrastructures.
- Develop and migrate Azure DevOps pipelines and platforms.
- Configure and manage Azure Virtual network solutions, including hybrid network architecture.
- Apply cybersecurity knowledge, including familiarity with ISM, OWASP, and Essential 8 controls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as business users, development teams, Azure experts, cybersecurity teams, and enterprise architects to build productive relationships.
- Translate business requirements into clear, concise design solutions using language, diagrams, and technical detail.
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, ideally within a federal government setting.
- Experience in a technical leadership role on complex projects, especially migration projects.
- Expertise in designing solutions for the migration of in-house systems to Azure cloud environments.
- Proficiency in developing Azure DevOps pipelines and platforms.
- Understanding of Azure Virtual network configuration, including hybrid network architecture.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (ISM, OWASP, Essential 8).
- Deep technical knowledge of the Azure cloud platform.
- Ability to work independently, manage relationships with various stakeholders, and communicate effectively.
- Strong communication skills to create detailed design solutions from business requirements.
Desirable:
- Experience in migrating solutions between organizations, including planning and execution of the migration approach.
- Background in Data Solutions, DevOps, CI/CD, integration solutions, geospatial/large data processing, and API/Services Oriented Architecture.
- Ability to work with limited guidance in an Agile environment.
