Solution Developer

Location: Canberra (Hybrid - 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Starting: May 2025
Clearance: Active Baseline Clearance Required
Experis has been engaged by our federal government client in Canberra to identify a Solution Developer to support the implementation of new business solutions as part of a large-scale digital transformation program.
This program aims to deliver enhanced services using cloud platforms such as Office 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, and bespoke web applications. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team, applying agile and waterfall principles and DevOps practices to develop client-focused solutions. They will also collaborate closely with other developers and the platform architect to ensure high technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft cloud platforms.
• Work within an agile team to deliver client-centred digital solutions.
• Collaborate with platform architects and developers to build technical capability.
• Apply DevOps principles to enhance delivery and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Essential Criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in ICT or relevant industry certifications.
• Strong experience as a Solutions Developer using Microsoft technologies, including:
  • .NET Core (specialising in ASP.NET Core)
  • ReactJS (TypeScript & JavaScript)
  • Azure DevOps with Git
  • Building and consuming Web APIs
  • Entity Framework Core with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., Scrum).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience creating and maintaining DevOps pipelines (build and release).
• Exposure to Dynamics 365 development.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days on-site in Canberra and offering two remote workdays per week.
