On behalf of our client, we are seeking a talented and experienced Solution Designer/Engineer to join a leading team in the Credit Risk and Banking sector.
About the Role:
Our client, a prominent organization in the Credit Risk and Banking industry, is looking for a Solution Designer/Engineer to play a key role in managing business requirements, performing impact analysis, estimating efforts, designing solutions, and overseeing governance activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Credit Risk stakeholders, Service Owners, Tech Leads, and Line of Business (LOB) Leads to prioritize and assess requirements.
- Design and deliver cross-functional solutions, building enterprise data products using diverse technologies and platforms.
- Drive reusability of solutions across multiple programs, enhancing enterprise value.
- Lead the creation of enterprise components to improve delivery and maintainability.
- Define solutions involving SAS, Hadoop & Big Data, Azure, Teradata Data Warehouse, ETL tools (e.g., Informatica), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Guide Agile teams through full-stack solution design, development, and implementation.
- Work closely with business units to understand credit risk data, including reference data, metadata, and data lineage.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a complex Credit Risk or Banking environment.
- 10+ years of experience in delivering business and technology solutions with complex data processes.
- 5+ years of advanced SQL and SAS experience, including SAS DI Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS Management Console.
- 5+ years of expertise with technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, Python, Java, Spring Boot, Git, Flink, CosmosDB, Akka, Scala, SQL, and Synapse.
- Extensive experience with warehousing, modeling, and integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Sterling) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, IBM Cognos/TM1).
- Proven ability to design solutions for cloud platforms, preferably Azure and serverless architectures.
Desired Skills and Attributes:
- Strong data analysis and modeling expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket).
