On behalf of our client, a leading organization within the Credit Risk and Banking sector, we are seeking an experienced Solution Designer/Engineer to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects that require both technical expertise and strategic thinking.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions within large, complex environments and possess a deep understanding of enterprise data processes, cloud technologies, and modern toolsets.

• Partner with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, conduct impact assessments, and deliver detailed effort estimates.
• Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade technical solutions across diverse platforms.
• Govern solution design and documentation, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational principles.
• Develop and maintain enterprise components to improve the delivery and longevity of data products.
• Lead Agile teams in designing, testing, and implementing full-stack technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk teams to identify, source, and ensure data quality, metadata, and lineage.
• Engineer cloud-first solutions, with a preference for Azure and serverless architectures.

• 5+ years of experience in Credit Risk and/or Banking environments.
• 10+ years of expertise in delivering complex business and technology solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and SAS, including tools like Base SAS, SAS DI Studio, and SAS Management Console.
• Strong knowledge of technologies such as:
  • Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase)
  • Programming languages (Python, Java, Scala)
  • Frameworks (Spring Boot, Akka, Flink)
  • Tools (Git, CosmosDB, Synapse)
• Experience with data warehousing, modeling, and integration tools like Informatica and Sterling.
• Familiarity with BI tools (IBM Cognos, Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience designing cloud-based solutions, preferably on Azure.

• Expertise in data analysis and data modeling.
• Proficiency with the Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket).
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile environments.
