Strategic Business Analyst

Contract duration: 30 June 2024

Security Clearance: Baseline Security Clearance

Location of work: ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC

The Strategic Business Architect will be responsible for:

• Assessing the alignment of existing technology strategies with organisation objectives and business strategies.
• Monitoring trends and developments in the external technology environment. Researching and assessing emerging technologies with regard to their usefulness to Austrade business.
• Proposing new solutions and initiatives to meet the strategic needs of business. Developing roadmaps to support proposed changes to the ICT environment.
• Providing future state objectives for business and technology maturity.
• Using architectural models and processes to facilitate changes in the organisation's structure, business processes, information or data, business systems and infrastructure.
• Identify and manage prioritisation of key projects to support the ICT strategy.
• Supporting best practices in methods and tools for architecture practice. The successful applicants must be Australian citizens and be willing to undergo, Austrade Pre employment Screening as a condition of employment.

Essential criteria

• Stakeholder engagement and consultation with business, technology and strategy partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication. Preparing material for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Use of effective infographics and diagrams.
• Business analysis, maturity assessments, road mapping and technology strategy.
• Technology research.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture best practices

Due to the nature of work, only Australian citizen with a Baseline Clearance are considered for this position.
