Role Purpose:

This position is for an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for managing transformation projects from initiation to post implementation review for business partners to improve customer outcomes

The role will require liaison with local business owners, key business users and external stakeholders to ensure a strong and clear understanding of the project objectives, to provide clear and regular feedback on project progress and to successfully implement these initiatives.

The projects will need to be managed following Change Framework for Agile delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination of the end-to-end stages required for delivery of initiatives, and ensuring the project has a clear plan.
  • Co-ordination of overall Scrum / Development Team activities & deliverables, in collaboration with the Tech Lead, including initiative lists, stream artefacts and other assets.
  • Ensuring required engagements and activities to manage the project are completed, including managing project SteerCos, Working Groups, Huddles, Strategic Planning sessions, Alignment sessions, and participation in showcases and other forums
  • Supporting all members of the project in delivering and collaborating effectively.

Must Have:

  • Proven record in delivering transformation projects for 5 years +, with experience across both digital change and transformational change.
  • A passion to put customers' experiences and interests at the centre of transformation
  • Experience of human-centred design/design thinking desirable
  • Experience with collaborative and agile ways of working, and with managing teams in an agile context
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex matrix environment
  • Strong financial services business and product knowledge
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience with interpreting and implementing new regulatory requirements
